Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Fayette County is working with Table Magazine to hold a series of four "Taste of Nemacolin" weekends featuring tastings, cooking classes, dinners and other food fun:
March 12-14: Gourmet Getaway -- includes a wine tasting followed by a California Cabernet Shootout; a hands-on cooking class and Italian lunch; a coffee cupping and chocolate tasting; and a wine-pairing dinner at Lautrec.
March 26-28: Setting the Spring Table -- includes classes with Jamison and Elysian Fields lamb; La Prima coffee tasting; and dinner at Lautrec.
April 30-May 2: Out of the Woods -- celebration of local foods and Pennsylvania wines includes a fly-fishing demonstration and a foraging excursion, after which guests chow down on a freshly foraged spring pairing dinner.
May 21-23: Bon Vivant Vacation-- starts with a New World wine dinner and poker, Scotch and cigar party; ends with a grand tasting at Lautrec.
