Penn State Fayette sets memorial service for chancellor

Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, will host a memorial service for Chancellor Emmanuel I. Osagie, and has named an interim chancellor.

As of March 22, the interim chancellor will be Francis Achampong, chief academic officer at Penn State Mont Alto,.

The service, open to the public, will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Maggie Hardy Magerko Auditorium in the Community Center of the campus. There will be a reception after the service.

Dr. Osagie, 58, who was chancellor for about three years, died unexpectedly Tuesday of complications of an illness.
