A Swissvale man was wounded in a shooting early Friday in the borough.
Allegheny County homicide detectives are investigating the incident that left the man, 24, with a facial wound. The injury is not life threatening, investigators said.
The shooting was reported at 2:14 a.m. near the corner of Washington Avenue and Palmer Street.
Police have not released the man's name nor what they have discovered about the gunman's motive.
No arrests have been made.
