CHURCH ACTIVITIES

Churchill - Beulah Presbyterian Church, 2500 McCrady Road, will sponsor a sports camp for ages 6-12 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 9-13. Activities will include soccer, basketball, cheerleading and golf. The cost is $40 for the first child and $20 for each additional child from the same family. Space is limited to 80. Murrysville - Cornerstone Ministries, 2200 Cornerstone Drive, will sponsor addresses by author and former Time magazine reporter David Aikman at its weekend services at 6 p.m. Saturday and 9 and 11 a.m. Sunday. Information: 724-733-0070.

CLASSES

Derry Township - The state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources will sponsor an introductory class on kayaking from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Keystone State Park, 1150 Keystone Park Road. The cost is $8; pre-registration is required. Information: 724-668-2939.

Forest Hills - Juniper Village at Forest Hills Assisted Living, 107 Fall Run Road, will hold the following classes. Registration: 412-244-9901.

• Painting, 6 p.m. Tuesday. Cost: $10.

• Ceramics, 10 a.m. Wednesday and every Wednesday in August. Cost: $5 per class.

CLUBS

Forest Hills - The Garden Club of Forest Hills will hold "Around the World With Flowers," a standard flower show, from 1:30 to 7 p.m. Friday at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church, 1840 Ardmore Blvd. Information: 412-243-8384.

RECREATION

Derry Township - The state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources will sponsor the following nature programs at Keystone State Park, 1150 Keystone Park Road. Pre-registration is required for all children's programs. Information: 724-668-2566.

• "Hop & Slither," "Hike-n-Seekers" on frogs, turtles and more for ages 4 and 5, 1 to 2 p.m. today.

• "Snakes 'n Salamanders," "Outdoor Explorers" for ages 6-8, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. today.

• "Rad Reptiles," "Penn's Adventurers" for ages 9-13, 1 to 3 p.m. Friday.

• "Bat Chat," 8 to 9 p.m. Saturday.

• "Going Batty," "Hike-n-Seekers" on frogs, turtles and more for ages 4 and 5, 1 to 2 p.m. next Thursday.

• "Flying Mammals," "Outdoor Explorers" for ages 6-8, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. next Thursday.

• "Bats!," "Penn's Adventurers" for ages 9-13, 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 6.

RELIGIOUS

Monroeville - Monroeville Aglow Community Lighthouse will meet from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. next Thursday at the Golden Corral, 3951 William Penn Highway. Featured speaker will be the Rev. Lloyd Sewdin, pastor of Whitehall Presbyterian Church. Reservations requested by Tuesday. Information: 412-793-8454 or 412-793-1325.
